We hate to answer a question with a question but… How would you like to spend your day on Oahu? We have tours set up for everyone.
See More Of Pearl Harbor
The most popular tours are the ones that include a visit to the Missouri Battleship. Spend more time on the ship or take a tour that explores all the attractions at Pearl Harbor.
See More Of Oahu
Get out and do a circle route tour of the island. Ride along the dramatic southern coastline, take in the incredible cliffs and make numerous stops on a 120-mile journey around Oahu.
Experience More Culture
Go a little deeper into the Polynesian lifestyle with this combo tour that includes lunch. Play games, enjoy tasty (and not so tasty) foods, and laugh along with wonderful shows at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
View It On Your Own
We take care of all the flights, tickets and vehicle logistics as well as provide an on-island orientation at Pearl Harbor. After that, you are on your own to enjoy a road trip or helicopter flight.
There is no specific day that is better than others if you want to visit Pearl Harbor. The crowd sizes fluctuate throughout the day but there is strong demand throughout the day to visit the Arizona Memorial. Your best bet is to get there earlier in the day to enjoy calmer waters before the tradewinds pick up in the late morning.
Oahu and Kauai are right next to each other in the chain of Hawaiian islands. They are only 63 miles apart so it takes only about 35 minutes from take-off to landing on a Hawaiian Airlines flight.
Depending on the tour you choose to take, you can be on the island between 8 to 12 hours. Your flight to Honolulu will leave Kauai between 6 to 7 am and return you between 4 to 7 pm that same day.
Our shortest Oahu day trip from Lihue is the Arizona & Missouri Battleship tour. Your guide meets you curbside in Honolulu at approx. 7:00 am and return you to the airport at 3:00 pm.
We like to stay ahead of the crowds and you will too. You will want to maximize your time on Oahu so itʻs best to start with the sunrise. We have been running tours for many, many years and have the knowledge to deliver the best, most consistent experience. The Navy boat that takes you out to the USS Arizona Memorial may stop running if the winds are too strong. The possibility of this happening is greater in the later morning and afternoons.
Bags are not allowed inside of Pearl Harbor for safety reasons so please bring cash to check each bag at the entrance for $7.00 for small bags and $10.00 for large bags. Make arrangements with our team, to securely hold onto your luggage if you are planning to continue onto another island, instead of returning back to Kauai.
You will need to fly from Kauai to the island of Oahu to visit Pearl Harbor. The harbor is located on the southern coast of Hawaiiʻs most populous island and the state capital at Honolulu.
Within the wreck of Arizona, there are 1,103 remains of those who served on the ship. Over 900 died during the attack on Dec. 7th, 1941, and never left the ship. They are considered to be buried at sea. The navy starting in 1982, allowed survivors to have their ashes interred in the ship as well when they died so they can re-join their shipmates who never got a chance to fight.
