Overview

Everyone needs a break, especially our armed forces and their families. Get the R&R you deserve when you have a break in Hawaii. Many of our families come out to Hawaii during breaks. This is a great way to get out and spend the day enjoying the island, the people, great food and most of all, a great beach.

Our experience starts with pickups in Waikiki and around the bases before heading up to the North Shore. We will make some stops along the way to check out the Dole Plantation and Haleiwa as well as some of the famous North Shore Surfing spots. We will get out of the van for pictures but many of the best angles are from your seat itself.

Your guide that day will help you collect some picnic items for enjoying at the beach. They will take you to local places for fresh poke, plate lunches and more (purchase on your own). We will keep things insulated and secure while we head out on a little bit of an adventure to get to the beach.

Throughout the day, we will come across movie and TV locations but we will get into it further as we cross private lands on our unique tour. We will take a boat ride across a old Hawaiian fishpond and follow a sandy, plant filled, trail tunnel out to a secluded beach with all the best amenities you could hope for. This area, protected by a far-out barrier reef is perfect for families, learning to SUP, or wanting to just have a relaxing float. You will be able to enjoy your picnic on beach chairs with an amazing view of the small islands around the bay. Get up and join a group playing volleyball or other beach games scattered throughout the area.

Later in the afternoon, after a short tour of the Hawaiian fishpond and a drive through some movie sets, we will enjoy some coffee and treats at a tropical farm. It provides a little bit of the push we need to get to the overlook at Nuuanu Pali, a site of historical and cultural significance as well as an incredibly windy, located high on the tall mountain cliffs that split the island of Oahu.

Your guide will tell stories and provide tips about the island on your journey into the city. Depending on your group and timing your guide will make additional stops downtown to view the historic buildings and statues as well as wrapping around Diamond Head for a view off of Earnhart Lookout. A beautiful spot to view the sunset sky before returning to your accommodation. A full and relaxing day of rest and recuperation.

The tour includes an extended visit to an exclusive beach, fully equipped with all necessary amenities.

• 8:00 AM: Departure from Waikiki.
• 8:15 AM: Arrival at Earhart Lookout for sightseeing.
• 9:00 AM: Visit Halona Blowhole for natural wonders.
• 9:45 AM: Exploration of Makapuu Lighthouse with scenic views.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch at either Waimanalo or Kaneohe, featuring lunch options from notable places like the Poi Factory, favored by locals.
• 12:00 PM: Departure for Secret Beach, including a canoe journey to and from the beach.
• 3:00 PM: Return trip to town, potentially stopping by Nuuanu Pali Lookout for stunning views.
• 4:00 PM: Tour through historic Honolulu, immersing in cultural and historical sites.
• 5:00 PM: Completion of the tour with a return to Waikiki.

Guidelines

• Bring your towel and beachwear as there are changing stations available.
• Bring the basics that you would love to have at the beach.
• Please only use reef-safe sunscreen at all times in Hawaii.

Refund

Any request for a refund 72 hours or more prior to the start of the tour or activity is honored with a full refund.

No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.
