The story begins in the 1940s and weaves together exciting adventure, bravery, heroism, and classic Hawaiiana. The best performers entertain you and time-travel you back to Hawaii of the 40s, 50s, and 60s.
This luau is a fine dining experience set in the historic hangar 37. Enjoy lively entertainment and great food among some of the most notable warplanes of the time. Starting with pickup in Waikiki, your luau includes a full tour of the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum on Ford Island!
Your adventure to Pearl Harbor begins with pickup at one of the various central Waikiki pickup locations. Then, your driver will take you out and onto Ford Island to the historic hangar 37 at the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum within an active military base.
You can explore the museum’s exhibits and collection of vintage WWII aircraft within this building and the hangar nearby, including a few you may have never seen before. All guests will sit down at reserved seating to begin the show. Tables spread throughout the ample space available in the hangar, allowing the performers and historic planes to be situated all around you. You will feel like you’re right in the middle of the action!
Dinner is a three-course meal of pacific rim flavors that will melt in your mouth. Enjoy organically grown greens, local fruit, taro rolls, Hawaiian shrimp, bbq chicken, garlic ginger rice, pineapple fried rice, and mixed vegetables. End your evening with a beautiful desert, local-style.
The show features Hawaiian performers, dancing, songs, and performances from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. Even some vintage classics are performed chosen from the USO shows of the time. It’s a rip-roaring good time that explores these decades and will transport you back to old Waikiki!

The best ticket in town was sometimes the USO events. The most famous performers graced these stages, and each one was unique to the times. The military’s brave and hardworking men & women deserved some morale-boosting entertainment, and the USO delivered. It’s the perfect show for getting a sense of what life was like during the war years.
